Activity: 1^st Student Geographers’ Meet

Date: 9^th October, 2019

Time: 10:30 to 1:45 AM

Venue: Srijan Hall, IISU Campus, Jaipur 

The Department organized the 1^st Student Geographers’ Meet on the Theme ‘Origin of the Earth’.  All the students of the Geography Department participated in the activity. The students were supposed to present their original ‘Theory of the Origin of the Earth’ through a presentation. There were 9 teams, namely - Companion Star, Fulminater, Drax- The Destroyer, Celestial, Interstellar, Nebula, Protosun, Macro Cosmic and Cosmic Nerd.

This activity aimed creating interest in Physical Geography branch of the subject. The students performed wonderfully and presented unique theories. The First positions was secured by Team Celestial and Team Fulminater were Second. The Best Students Geographers’ Award went to Ms. Khushi Verma.
