Objective: 

The students will appreciate the significance of social, cultural and political factors as central to the functioning of economies; and that the economic processes need to be analyzed in social, cultural and political contexts. The students will realize the relevance of economic geography for analyzing contemporary societies and economies.

Course Outcomes: 
CO90: Assess the different economic processes in geography prevailed over the earth surface and the importance of the resources and their regional distribution in different parts of the world, specifically in India.
