Students of Add on course – ‘Cettificate Course on Remote Sensing’ attended the visit of the Indian Institute of Resources Management Research lab on 31/10/09. During the visit they were exposed to the practical application of Remote Sensing an GIS with the help of Remote Sensing an GIS software. Here the project scientist demonstrated the watershed development and its management with reference to Rajasthan with the use of GIS software GEOMATICA. This made the students enthusiastic and keen to learn the techniques and RS and GIS by using the software and hardware.
