Department of geography had conducted a village survey as a departmental activity on 13.02.10, Saturday. Two villages of Bagru satellite town were surveyed by the students of II, IV, and VI Semester. The survey aimed to make the students acquainted with the various aspects of socio-economic survey and research methodology in Geography. The field study covered the following objectives of the village survey.

Maximum students participated in the field survey exercise and felt very much connected with socio-cultural environment of traditional villages of the Rajasthan.
