Guest Lecture on “Antartica- A Natural Laboratory”

Guest Lecture was delivered by Profesor M.K. Pandit, Department of Geology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. On the Topic –“ Antartica- A natural laboratory”. A power point presentation was made by the Professor which was very much informative for the students. He explained the changing phenomenon of the climate and its impact on the glaciers. According to him the glaciers melting is a natural phenomenon owing to the cyclic pattern of the climatic changes. He further explained the process shifting of magnetic poles and its impact on micro climatic changes with the example of Antartica.
