Objective: 

Objectives:

  1. The student learns to plan a project, develop its methodology, implement the same under guidance of a supervisor, derive conclusions and check their validity/deviation in results from the standard or expected outcomes and find out the courses of deviation, if any. 
  2. This component will help to create research aptitude in the students and help them to develop a Scientific approach in solving problems related to geography.

Details of Project

 

Students of semester V are required to choose a topic for the project and get it approved by the assigned supervisor of the department. They are required to carry out studies for writing a review article on a subject. At the end of the semester, a project report shall be submitted by each student. This project will be assigned to them in the beginning of the V semester.

 

Evaluation of Project

 

A midterm evaluation of the project will be made along with the CA test. This will carry 30 % of the total marks assigned for the project. At the end of the semester, the student shall be examined on the basis of
