Guidelines for Continuous Assessment

Theory

1. The components of Continuous Assessment  for this Even semester shall be as follows:

CA Test                       :           15 marks

Home Assignment      :           5 marks

Quiz                            :           5 marks

Class Activity             :           5 marks

2. The question paper will be set from the first two units.
3. The duration of the CA test will be 45 minutes.
4.  The pattern of the paper will be as follows.

• Section A will consist of 5 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each ( 1 mark x 5 =5 marks)
• Section B will consist of 5 short answer type questions with word limit of 50 – 70 marks  carrying 2 marks each. ( 2 marks x 5 =10 marks)

PRACTICAL

1. The duration of the CA test will be 45 minutes.
2. The written Test will be followed by the Viva on the same day.
3. The CA Practical will be based on the following pattern:
