Village survey at Chandlai Village, Jaipur

The department of geography has conducted a socio economic survey and village survey on 18^th March, 2015, at Chandlai village, Jaipur. The main objective of the survey was to give students a practical knowledge of surveying and data collection. The village is a good example of impact of modernization with advancement in their socio culture values. As a small geographical unit all the attributes of physical environment that is hills, open fields, irrigation by wells and tube wells, farm lands, rivers, demographic structure was found in the study areas. Students of B.A/ B.Sc participated and collected data of primary survey and prepared a socio-economic report. They were very enthusiastic as they were dealing with the new experience of village culture.
