The department of Geography organized a guest lecture on the Topic “ Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in geographical studies on &th august 2015 in the university capus.  The lecture was delivered by Mr. Manu Sharma, research  research scientist, Birla institute, Jaipur. The lecture was aimed to acquaint the students with the knowledge of application of Remote sensing and GIS in various discipline of science and social sciences. Students of various  disciplines and research scholars participated in the special lecture and shown their interest in the participation of the studies of Remote Sensing and GIS studies. The significance of EDUSAT programme was also discussed by the resource person . Students were encouraged and took part in the 15^th EDUSAT programme of IIRS started on 10^th August 2015 .
