Objective: 
To make the students  able to:understand different paradigm and approaches of urban geography so that they can understand the process of urbanization and origin, growth and classification of urban settlements with relevant theories and models.To enhance knowledge about basic concepts, evolutionary structure of urban economy.
The Students will be benefited by urban morphology by examining the changing economic base and structure of the contemporary cities.To make students understand contemporary urban issues by examining the contemporary urban issues and suggest new urban planning and urban policy perspectives.
