Objective: 
To make the students able to understand the basic concepts,characteristic,scope,
methods of regional planning also the need of planning.
They will develop understanding of planning process in different in area like drought prone area, tribal areas etc. They will able to summarize the concept of development and points like sustainable development, regionalization and planning regions in India. The students will develop understand of the theories of regional development and evaluation of regional disparities like identification and planning of backward regions. They will acknowledge the regional development in Rajasthan along these factors like connectivity, regional disparity and development strategies.
