Objective: 
1. To understand the concept of Region and Regional Planning.
2. To familiarize the students with Theories and Models for Regional Planning.
3. To develop understanding about concept of Development, Sustainable Development and different
programmes and policies.
Course Outcomes: 
CO13: Elaborate the basic concept, characteristic, scope methods of regional planning also the need of planning.
CO14: Develop understanding of planning process in different in area like drought prone area, tribal areas etc.
CO15: Summarize the concept of development and points like sustainable development, regionalization and planning regions in India.
CO16: Analyse the theories of regional development and evaluation of regional disparities like identification and planning of backward regions.
CO17: Acknowledge the regional development in Rajasthan along these factors like connectivity, regional disparity and development strategies.
