Objective: 
The students will be able to learn about the different types of economic activities with the development of agriculture. They will be able to appreciate the factors responsible for the location and distribution of agriculture. They will be introduced with the major factor of agriculture which is soil. And all its characteristics problems, soil erosion. Students here will have introduction with the types of agriculture concept of land use, surveys, planning, classification.They will understand the statistical part like mapping, crop ranking, and crop combination. They will have sound knowledge about food security and appreciate the concepts, needs and various approaches to rural development
