On completion of this course, the students will be able to: 

CO1: The students will be able to learn about the different types of economic activities with the development of agriculture. They will be able to appreciate the factors responsible for the location and distribution of agriculture. 

CO2: they will introduce with the major factor of agriculture which is soil. And all its characteristics problems, soil erosion. CO3:here they will have introduction with the types of agriculture. Concept of land use, surveys, planning, classification going to understand. 

CO4: they will understand the statistical part like mapping, crop ranking, crop combination.  

CO5: They will have sound knowledge about food security and appreciate the concepts, needs and various approaches to rural development.
